Luke 3:11 And [John the Baptist] would answer and say to them, "Let the man with two tunics share with him who has none, and let him who has food do likewise."
John 15:15 "I do not call you servants anymore. Servants do not know their master's business. Instead, I have called you friends. I have told you everything I learned from my Father.
We will spend the first 2 days discussing issues of Poverty and Social Justice at The General Board of Church and Society (located on Capital Hill). This will prepare us for serving under the leadership of Teens Opposing Poverty providing lunch and reaching out to the homeless. Like Jesus we hope to not just serve but make friends.
If you are interested in joining the team or just supporting the team as we prepare please contact. Marc Segre marc@rrock.com or 919-846-7690.
